Terror attacks India --Once Again..

Hi Everyone,

Apologies for not posting and not providing any information these days. Well I was very much moved by Mumbai Terror incidence. I was keenly observing all the news channels, news papers, calling all my friends who are based out of Mumbai, the dream city of India.

Even after Intelligence providing enough input about the possible terror plot, our ministers (so called elected :-( ) could not provide enough of security and at the end , blame it again in intelligence failure.

For the first time in my life, I am deeply moved by the Terror Attack. So unfortunate that India has to contend with such Useless direction less neighbors.

I sometimes wonder how can a nation of ~150 million do Nothing but sit and watch a portion of their misguided Folk run beserk like this..agreed kashmir is a controversial Issue..but **it is so** for both countries..but despite Millions of other major problems India still "tries" to Constructively spend its time and resources on meaningful Pursuits for a larger good..

India says we have hard evidence..world (US) Does not disagree..but pak says "prove it" :)

Now friends,we need to vote, but to whom, when all the contestants are not worth discussing.

But I do not want anybody to waste their voting right.

Probably the below link might be helpful.

For all those, who can not read the above link:

Section 49-O of the Constitution

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received
"49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....
